Support for this Project is important to us and for the ongoing sustainability of the Cemetery and Chapels as a community facility.
You can support in this Project in a variety of ways giving as much or as little of your time as you want:
Become a Friend of the Cemetery
The Friends of Lye and Wollescote Cemetery are volunteers who help to maintain and enhance the cemetery for local people to enjoy as a place of remembrance, local history and a haven for wildlife.
The Friends group's vision for the cemetery is 'A welcoming, accessible place that everyone is proud of and that celebrates the heritage of local people and the cemetery'. Activities are organised by a small steering group made up of local people. Steering group meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the month at 6.30pm at Stambermill House, Cemetery Road, Lye.
